Does my child need to be good at sport?

No! Our aim is to provide all children with a positive experience whether they have never tried a sport before or if they are extremely competant. All of our programmes promote structured learning and are lead by staff who are committed to ensuring each child enjoys themselves.

Do you provide food?

Sports Xtra do not provide food in any of our programmes so your child should bring along their own packed lunch, drink or snack as appropriate.

Are your staff suitably qualified?

All Sports Xtra staff are carefully selected on their ability to work with children and as part of that selection process, we require professional references and a recent enhanced CRB check. Most coaches have a Level 2 National Governing Body Award in at least one sport and all staff must complete a training programmein each course that they deliver.

Do you do children's birthday parties?

Yes, we love providing children with a memorable birthday party and offer a very flexible bespoke package to suit your requirements.

Are your courses Ofsted registered?

Many of our courses are Ofsted registeredand some are not,it just dependson the cirumstances of that course/venue. All of our programmes are organised in with the same structure and to the same standard regardless ofwhether they are registered.

Can my child be in the same group as their friend?

Yes, if they are of a similar age this can usually be organised if you contact the relevant manager wellin advance of the course.

Do you provide one-to-one coaching?

In some instances, children can really benefit from one to one tuition. Contact your local manager if this is of interest.

Can I pay using child-care vouchers?

Yes, where courses are Ofsted registered you will be able to pay using the child-care vouchers. Ask your local manager for more details.
