Xtra Healthy launch

Sports Xtra will next week be launching its Xtra Healthy initiative with three training events taking place across the UK in order to showcase the product to our providers. Available to book now, the programme will have children learning about all aspects of health including fitness, nutrition, and how these affect the body and its ability to perform mentally as well as physically. The overall focus will be on healthy lifestyles being at the heart of happiness and feeling great about ourselves! We have developed a series of innovative sessions, specific to different key stages, with curriculum links and awesome activities to ensure a multi-dimensional learning package. Leeds Launch!

Sports Xtra launches two new branches this week, one in Leeds, and the other in the neighbouring region covering York and Selby.

We have been providing high quality sports provision to youngsters since 2002, and now operate in nearly 20 UK regions spanning the length of the country! The launch day event, being held in the Priestley Building of Leeds Met Uni on Tuesday 2nd February, will see both regional directors plus our MD meet with some of the many who have already expressed their interest in working for the company. It is also the first time that Margaret Talbot, former head of afPE (Association for Physical Education) who has recently been appointed as an ambassador to support the company's efforts in increasing children's participation in physical activity, will attend a launch event.
